Happy Spring or so they say. Hard to tell day after day. We're used to the rain but what's with the temps? Hot as all get out one day and frigid as winter the next! I don't know about you but I've had enough. I'm ready for sunshine and fun stuff! Thank goodness we have so much to do. The Chamber has events just for you! Events aren't your thing, that's okay. We have other benefits we bring everyday. Sign up for a class and learn something new, sponsor an event and volunteer too. Don't forget we can help with HR, insurance, retirement and more. So don't be afraid to walk in our door. We love friendly faces and enjoy a little chat, but our website is always available and the office is not. We have been busy putting together a year of events, classes and networking. Our First Friday Building Business Over Breakfast series ended today for the summer but will resume in September. Our next Quarterly Breakfast is right around the corner so be sure to get registered now. The Big Shot is next month followed by our Fourth of July celebration. Our Board President is offering HR classes starting next week. Join for all five or pick which suits you best. We will continue to host the same fun events and we're looking to add a few new ones. We love meeting our members so get involved. Attend a meeting or volunteer at an event. After three years, we had the Community Expo again!

IT WAS AT A DIFFERENT VENUE, THE NEW BIG WALNUT HIGH SCHOOL AND WHILE WE HAD TO MAKE SOME ADJUSTMENTS, OVERALL THIS WAS A GREAT EVENT. FOOT TRAFFIC WAS DOWN BUT BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS HAD A GREAT TIME NETWORKING WITH EACH OTHER. ATHLETIC BOOSTERS HAD CONCESSIONS OPEN, LENNY LEPOLA PHOTOGRAPHED THE ENTIRE EVENT AND DJ MEEKO MC'D AND SPUN THE RECORDS, DIGITALLY OF COURSE!
