DESCRIPTION:'Tis the time of year to bring good cheer!\n\n\n\nPlease join the Sunbury/Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce and its members as we celebrate "CHRISTMAS ON THE SQUARE 2023."\n\n\n\nEVENING ACTIVITIES:\n\n\n\n4:00 pm 8:00 pm - Craft & Gift Fair on Sunbury Square between Town Hall & Vernon St.! See the link below for vendor registration to print & mail or drop @ Chamber office. We encourage early registration limited to 12 vendors.\n\n\n\n ---------- Parade updates for 2023 are posted in the registration form -----------\n\n5:00 pm - Lighted Musical Christmas Parade Lineup takes place on Burrer Drive. All parade entries are required to have lights on throughout their display as the parade kicks off after dark\, at 5:30 p.m. We are also asking that participants consider sing Christmas carols or have a speaker playing Christmas songs.\n\n* For a parade entry and waiver form\, See the link below to print & mail or stop in the Sunbury Chamber office on the Square. **** NO Day of parade entries will be allowed\, we must receive your forms by Monday\, November 27\, 2023 *****\n\n\n\n5:30 pm Announcer-Dave Mazza\, NBC4i / The night's festivities kick into full gear with the "Lighted" Musical Parade. Then get your best Santa costume for that pup and enter him or her in our second annual Santa dog costume contest. \n\nContest begins at 6:30pm in the northwest quadrant of the square. Top 2 winners will receive a doggie goodie basket. Contest is limited to 10 dogs. Please register online or call the Sunbury Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce @ 740-965-2860.\n\n\n\n* Tree-lighting ceremony at approximately 7:00 pm on the Square! Join Mayor Joe St. John and Good 'Ol Saint Nick as they officially light the Christmas Tree on the Square!\n\n\n\n* Donut Eating Contest! - Join us after the tree lighting a little after 7:00 pm for the Christmas on the Square Donut Eating Contest sponsored and presented by Table Rock Construction. Held just outside of Table Rock Construction on Cherry St. Open to the first 8 people to register.
