DESCRIPTION:First Friday Building Business Over Breakfast- Please note that September and October speakers switched places.\n\n\n\nLesley Doan is a Certified Leadership Coach/Consultant with GiANT Worldwide and the Founder of Vivid Coaching and Consulting. \n\n \n\nHer background is in education as she spent 9 years as a teacher and administrator. She was also the Executive Director at a nonprofit in Canton\, OH for 4 years. She has always found herself in leadership roles where she can coach those around her to become better and grow in their skills and talents. \n\n \n\nShe was introduced to GiANT in 2017 and was hooked! She became more self-aware and a better communicator with those she was leading at home and work. In 2019 she decided to become a licensed coach and continue her journey to empower other leaders to become healthy so that they can multiply that heath to those they lead. \n\n \n\nSince that time\, she has been working with individuals\, teams and organizations helping them improve self awareness and communication. Specifically with teams\, she helps them improve relationships\, communication\, alignment\, execution\, and capacity to maximize team performance. \n\n \n\nShe works with clients 1:1\, facilitate workshops\, lead groups\, and work with her clients to identify their goals and the steps needed to achieve them. \n\n \n\n*** We will be learning about a tool called the Support/Challenge Matrix: \n\nLiberating Leadership is the standard we aim for both in work and in personal relationships. The Support/Challenge Matrix defines this standard and helps us make it a reality in our own lives. It requires us to bring high support AND high challenge to those we lead and love. That is how we create a culture of empowerment and opportunity that leads to high performance. ***
