DESCRIPTION:Introduction to safe pistol shooting using a .22 caliber. This event is for shooters or non-shooters who are interested or curious. Youth and Adult. There is no cost for the event\, .22 ammo and targets will be supplied. Handguns will be supplied. Safety equipment for eye and hearing protection will be available\; you are welcome to bring your own. Each time slot will consist of a classroom-style safety course\, classroom intro to pistol basic operations and instruction on how a .22 caliber pistol is shot\, followed by actually shooting the .22 pistol. Couples welcome. Parent and student pairs welcome. The course consists of approximately 3 hours of classroom and 1.5 hours of range time. No experience necessary\, open to the public. There is no cost for this course\, classroom and equipment provided. Light lunch provided.
