2015 Sunbury/Big Walnut Area Fourth of July Parade - Star Spangled Salute

Parade co-chairs Donna Evans and Linda Geddis are already organizing the 2015 Fourth of July parade, and are anxious to recruit more participants! Sunbury will be celebrating their bicentennial in 2016, and we'd like to grow the parade this year, so that it will be the best it's ever been for the bicentennial! Won't you please join us? Honorary Grand Marshals are representatives from the Sunbury-Galena Rotary Club. Grand Marshals will be any Viet Nam War Veteran who wishes to participate. The Vineyard Church of Delaware County is the sponsor for the Freedom Train, which will transport our Viet Nam veterans. Bry-Air, Inc.  is sponsoring the U.S. Army Band. Any child who wishes to participate in the Bikes & Trikes needs to report to the corner of Columbus and Granville Streets by 9:15 a.m. Ribbons and awards will be given! Donna and Linda are also seeking help for parade day. "Many hands make light work!" For business owners, this would be a perfect opportunity for you to showcase your business to thousands of spectators. Build a float, and come join us!
