Presenters will be Maribeth (Deavers) Meluch and Jeff Stankunas, both partners at Isaac, Wiles, Burkholder & Teetor, LLC. Maribeth brings a comprehensive approach to handling infectious diseases in the workplace with her dual degrees in Microbiology and Law. Maribeth regularly works with her business clients advising on issues such as compliance with federal and state laws applicable to employment including the ADA, FMLA, GINA, FLSA Wage and Hour, Title VII and OSHA. Also licensed before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Maribeth assists her business clients with protecting their valuable proprietary assets through patents, trademarks and copyrights, and also employee confidentiality and non-compete agreements. Jeff regularly advises his public and private clients on the intricacies of federal and state employment laws. He also assists them in preparing employment manuals, policies and other measures to assure compliance. On a daily basis he answers questions posed by employers on practical compliance with applicable laws and collective bargaining matters.
Together Maribeth and Jeff represent and defend employers in all Federal and Ohio courts on issues involving matters of employment, as well as before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, OCRC, SERB, SPBR, DOL, OSHA and DOJ.
