WHO:  Big Walnut Nature Club needs your help
WHAT:  to repair and reinforce the (2) Osprey platforms at the Hoover Mudflats (Area-M)
WHEN:  Sunday Nov 20th 8am-2pm(??) (or any time in between that you can help).
WHERE:  park at the Hoover Boardwalk parking lot and walk about 100yds (east) to the entrance of Hoover Area-N (at the corner of Front St. and Walnut St).  For those not familiar with the area here is a link to a Google Map of this location:  https://goo.gl/maps/T1ywBYkc44y
HOW: 

• bring heavy work gloves and boots.  Most of this project requires gathering/piling rocks a the base of the platforms.  If you can bring a shovel and/or wheelbarrow that would be helpful.  Some parts of this project require wading across a short stretch of a 12" deep stream (knee high waders work best).
• bring your own water, snacks, sunscreen, and weather appropriate attire. 
• there is a Port-a-john in the Boardwalk parking lot. 
• nearby Galena Diner serves great food if you need to break for lunch.
