Delaware County Inventors

Description

Delaware County has an extensive history of inventive people and we’ll take a look about 45 of them, going back as far as the mid-1800’s. Many people with Delaware County roots have been granted patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for their inventions. Many of these patents were related to companies that employed Delaware County residents. Several Delaware County inventors moved away and had interesting careers in other parts of the country. We’ll look at about 50 of these people, the patents they were granted and the companies they were associated with. This program will be livestream only because of the risk of inclement weather in January.
