She graduated from National University in San Diego and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
She served in the U.S. Marines for 4 years and currently is a Docent at the Columbus Museum of Art, where she has given 200+ Speaking Engagements through their Speakers Bureau and Docent in the Schools programs.
Sonya has been married for 29 years to a fellow Marine, Arnold. They have 3 children, their oldest Nick is a teacher in the Columbus School District, Nathan is in the Army working in Washington DC, and Nandi will be a senior at Allegheny College.
