Animal Tracks Scavenger Hunt, Nature Crafts: Cornhusk Dolls, and county historical home tours. Join us as we open Delaware County Historical Society’s historic homes for free tours from 1PM to 4PM. You will experience how early Delaware County residents lived as you walk through the early 1800’s Meeker Homestead and the 1850’s Millworker Cottage - two very different lifestyles. Family activities will be offered, too! Go on an animal track scavenger hunt in the Millworker yard. Popularized by pioneers and Native Americans, try your hand at cornhusk crafting, by making your choice of a cornhusk butterfly, or a male or female doll to take home with you. This Make N Take activity will be from 1PM to 3PM Special thanks go to the Delaware County Foundation, for their grant to provide audio/visual equipment and internet access in The Barn at Stratford. This is a free event but donations are always appreciated as they help with the operating costs of our museums.
