About Us

For over 43 years, the Sunbury Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce has promoted area businesses by providing our members (which include more than 14,000 employees) with benefit programs, marketing, networking opportunities, and community advocacy.

Our mission is driven by a Board of Directors who actively promotes new businesses, maintains existing ones, and supports a healthy and vibrant economic climate in the Big Walnut community.

What We Do

Established in 1977, the Sunbury Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce is a private, nonprofit, taxpaying organization. We are a LOCAL organization that promotes and advocates for businesses in our area. We work with our business leaders within the community and throughout the county to bring resources, ideas, and collaboration to further local business interests. According to our Bylaws, our Board of Directors comprises business owners and professionals within the community that helps guide and steer the Chamber.
